IPL 2025 Set to Resume Soon After Brief Suspension
Dubela, Ankesh Roy: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is all set to resume soon, with reports indicating that the schedule for the remaining matches will be released shortly. The IPL was temporarily halted on Friday, with 16 matches still left to play, due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan after the terror attack in Pahalgam and India’s subsequent response with Operation Sindoor.
The remaining matches include 12 league games and 4 playoff matches. Many foreign players, who are part of various IPL teams, have already left the country due to the escalating situation.
However, with the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, there is now hope that the tournament can continue safely.
