Woman gets assaulted in Bengaluru Ecoworld
Dubela, Jit Roy: A woman from Bengaluru was molested in a crowded IT park at Marathahalli on Wednesday. While walking around the Ecoworld a man on a two-wheeler approached her and hit on her back inappropriately. After ignoring the same first time, the woman got frightened when the accused hit her for the second time.
The woman received no assistance even after shouting for help. Surprisingly, the whole incident was ignored by most of the people in a crowded place like Ecoworld and no one stood for her when finally, she had to run to Ecoworld’s security booth for help.
The deputy commissioner of police and the assistant commissioner of police are personally investigating the matter after the woman approached the police on Thursday. The investigation is still in progress. She urged other women and the general public to report such crimes so that criminals don’t get away with crimes. “I really don’t want any other woman to be put in a situation like this. I believe that the person who committed the crime should be punished” – says the woman.
