A big comeback for CSK

The venue of the match was MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. In the toss, Delhi capital won and chose to bowl. Sanju Samson mashed an unbeaten 115 of 56 balls with 15 fours and 4 sixes.

Delhi Capital’s decision to bowl backfired as CSK posted 212/2 in 20 overs. In reply, Delhi Capitals were bowled out for 189 in 19.6 overs. This victory leads the Chennai Super Kings to their first win of the session. As a result, Chennai Super Kings move to the 9th place with 2 points from 4 games, while Delhi sits 4th with 4 points.

Teenager Ayush Mhatre gave strong support with a 59 off 36 balls before being retired out to accelerate the finish. MS Dhoni continued to miss the match due to injury. This absence was offset by Samson’s leadership. As a result of this very entertaining match, the Chennai Super Kings won by 23 runs, and the Delhi Capitals were 189 all out [19.6 overs].
